So who's responsible for this? 45 Pop Lofts and 125 Midway is a collaborative project between D+P Real Estate and Truth Box Inc. Part developer, part architect, and part construction manager, we're a cross-disciplinary team of design & development professionals interested in finding new models for creating sustainable, energy-efficient, and forward looking homes and communities in Rhode Island.
But don't worry, it's not our first time in the ring. In fact, you might have seen our previous work in your own neighborhood. Our prior collaborations in include multi-family renovations on the West Side, the first Energy Star tier-3 rated home in the state, a mixed use development on North Main Street, the Box Office, and numerous others. Check out our work in the photos below.
Peter Gill Case
Founder and principal of Truth Box, Mr. Case received his Masters in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Urban Studies. Since founding Truth Box., Mr. Case has built an architectural practice based on the broad definition of sustainable design. In some instances, this has led to large-scale mill buildings, the reuse and recycling of buildings and materials complemented by the use of state-of-the-art equipment. In other instances, such as in residential projects, this has translated into using alternative building materials such as straw bales, structural insulated panels, and strategies to improve energy efficiency, such as passive solar design. Mr. Case began sustainable development work in 2004 in order demonstrate to a variety of markets that green, conscientious design enhances the revenue and balance sheet of real estate ventures, and need not cost more than conventional building.

The newest member of the team, Rob is the behind-the-scenes guy pulling together the drawing sets, coordinating with the building inspector, updating the website, and generally trying to keep up with the other two. With an M.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design and a B.A. from Cornell University, Rob is an architectural designer committed to green building and balancing solid building science with sensitive, site-specific architecture. After graduating, he spent a couple years cutting on a variety of energy efficient residential and light-commercial projects with Stempel Form Architects in southwest Utah. After returning to Rhode Island and not being satisfied merely sitting behind a computer all day, Rob took the plunge and joined Truth Box in the Fall of 2013.
